A. Calories on Filipino Food
"It takes a lot of work, a lot of physical exercise, to lose even a pound, and so much easier, so fast, to gain weight", this statement, as stated in the article, greatly affects those who enjoy the pleasure of eating. As people become more health conscious, the writer explains his/her topic concretely and specifically by giving exact average of calories we burned for certain activities given the specific time(30 minutes) and specific amount of calories we gain from consuming foods and drinks given their exact amount intake(grams, slice, cups, piece, glass, bottle). By providing their specific amount, the reader can further choose the activities he/she can use to effectively burn calories with regards to the amount of calories he/she gains.
B. Indian Food
The writer explains his/her topic, "Indian food reflects India's various cultures, ages, and influences of various civilization which made it different in taste and cooking methods", specifically by providing concrete examples of these methods and taste. For example, in Kashmir(North India), dishes are prepared around the main course. In Andhra Pradesh(South India), they use chilies to improve the taste of the dishes and in East India, where they wrap Hilsa, their delicacy, using a pumpkin leaf in cooking it. The writer also gave specific peolple like Portuguese who influenced Goa in their cooking style and taste of dishes like sweet and sour Vindaloo.
